Dr. Collins is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management and specializes in interventional spine procedures. He provides non-surgical pain relief for patients experiencing persistent low back and neck pain, pre and post-surgical pain, shingles, peripheral neuropathy, discogenic and radicular pain as well as pain associated with cancer. Dr. Collins commonly utilizes injection therapy for the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine as well as extremities.
Dr. Collins completed his Medical Degree and Residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham where he also received an Undergraduate Degree in Biology. Dr. Collins is dedicated to the advancement of pain management and nonsurgical spine procedures and is a Lead Investigator in several research protocols. He is also actively involved in numerous professional associations including the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
